Tomorrow I aid my sister's birthday party. Hopefully, if the essay is finished to the best of my ability today, I can revise for other exams tomorrow while I am supposedly minding her rowdy friends. The rest of the week is centering around finishing my art and revising for psychology, Hebrew and biology. If anyone wants to help... haha, I won't bore you, too.

Okai, so I lied. I can't really keep myself off here (I have an addiction - psychologists, please refrain from muttering 'attribution theory' under your breath!) so I'm dropping by again.

Revision is alright, I guess, if boring. Trudging through the same thing over and over is boring as hell and a little bit more. I was glad I recognised the 'cognitive interview' technique in 4x15 (House M.D.) on Tuesday, though. Without referring to my notes, either! That was a super episode, too.

Next week the gold medal winner of the Nag Olympics is coming again (aka my paternal gran). I love her, but I'm really glad I have an excuse not to go anywhere with them. I have some pretty bigass finals in about three weeks that I have to revise for... they only mean the difference between getting into uni and not getting into uni. Kinda important!

My creative vibes are soaring again, though - a result of pseudo-procrastination, I think - so if anyone, and I beg, ANYONE, has any ideas that they can't be bothered to turn into a fic or art or SOMETHING, send them my way. I beg. That way I get breaks :D

Anyhow, wishing you all a merry weekend. I'll probably report back Saturday on the exam. If I get out alive, that is.

Aside from that, I have been playing with chicken wire and Paris-plaster/Modroc today in art. Now my fingers are totally stabbed and raw. Blah. Also, I was supposed to have a test which is now delayed for Friday because our teacher, who notified us of this A MONTH AGO, forgot. I'm sorry, what? We have a commitment to pass our exams and revise our asses off, and you don't even bother? Ridiculous.

Also, thanks to vikingcarrot I found out about some weird new bill that will be made law next week... I see why the government thinks they need to stop the distribution of grossly obscene pr0n e.g. necrophilia and bestiality as well as really heavy BDSM (in the form of website images and pr0n movies etc) but couples who are innocently using that kind of thing as sex aid will be pulled in for useless questioning while out there, worse people will be getting away with shit. Seriously, wtf? get a grip. Because a woman's daughter was murdered by someone who was 'corrupted' by these images. I am sorry for her loss, but what is this bill going to do? It's not going to stop people who really want to get away with this shit. They won't be browsing the net for these images, they'll be out there doing the acts the images show. Focus on THAT, will you?

Well, I'm not feeling any better about the love situation, as am still trying to convince myself it's all for the best. It takes time, though doesn't it.

I've read A Clockwork Orange and I must say I kinda fell in love with the written Alex. Seriously. Like he's not jailbait anyway ;) I can understand nadsat and even speak a few sentences (though I have to meditate upon their structure before I say them...)
And so it is that I have decided, in this year's costume-celebration-thing-we-have-every-year-because-it's-a-Jewish-holiday that I will go as Alex. I bought the Bowler and eyelashes today. It will be extremely fun. I refuse, however, to wear white pants and carry a cane. Parce-que that is Kubrick's idea of CO, not Burgess', and the book states he wears black pants. So ha, Kubrick. Inyalitso. (I did say I know a few words!)

So now I guess a fic is in order?

I broke up with my girlfriend of nearly two and a half years. I still love her but the distance is driving me completely crazy.

A great person and one of my closest friends. But I admit our relationship was a little rocky.

Besides that. I alternate between feeling like crap that I ended something not anyone can find and feeling relief that I can try and focus on school work or let the people from this country (who are mostly jerks) come to me.

I feel sick. I nearly cried when I read that. I am so sick and tired of people judging others. and for a goddamn CHARACTER? what the hell is wrong with these people?

I want to share something with you. I don't want to really talk about Heath anymore, ebcause thinking about it is still weird. I tried to get over it, and the wound's healing, but it will take time.
What i do want to talk about is something that's going on 30th March this year, continent of America: a protest. from the people who follow these same principles that the stupid family with no sense of keeping down the overflowing of the world's population does.

My girlfriend is considering going there to protest against them.
And I'm proud of her for doing that, because she is standing up for what she believes in. She told me about a sign she wants to hold up, blatantly saying everything they're against.
All I wish is that I could come along as well. But I can't so I'm wishing that she won't get hurt.

If I were in her place, I'd happily get jailed for a night for socking them one. Call me crazy, young know-it-all. A radical whose days will soon pass.

But for my cause, for her, for our belief that no one should be treated in the way that they treat others? I'll do anything.

I feel so surreal. He can't have gone. Not possible. No way.

Yet Heath Ledger did die. I just don't know how to see it, or how to feel about it. I feel completely lost, because he was an actor that I actually admired. He did different roles and he wasn't afraid to take on challenges... maybe, ultimately, that's what brought him down.

I will never forget you, not in a million years. Rest in the peace of mind that you deserve.

Of which I have heard the first single! Which is fucking incredible!

I worship that woman. Honest to goodness I do.

Anyhow, workworkwork is blehhh. BUT I have an interview in a uni IN JANUARY!!! Which is making me really super excited.

Hello, how are you all.

It's been a month ish since I have last posted. busy with work, school work. Just as I thought I was done being eaten by lichens, they come and attack me again. I was forced to drop history, though. Which is saddening, but is somewhat relieving, as I have much less work to deal with. Am very glad of this.

In other news. My granmother is coming next week, hopefully bearing the Deathly Hallows in Hebrew. YEINESS.
I am also suffering House M.D. withdrawal. I finished season 1 two days ago. I need the scary disease mystery fix. How sad, I have no life. THis is the behaviour that led me to consider a forensic sciences degree in the first place.
